Colby is an actor, writer, director and the co-founder of 85th Street Productions. Since studying at The Oxford School of Drama in the U.K., The College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and earning his degree from the Juilliard School’s Drama Division, Colby has been driven by curiosity and the need to explore characters and stories that collide at the intersection of science and art. His New York and regional theatre credits include Amadeus, Hamlet, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, Dog Sees God, Lion in Winter, Bad Jazz, and Proof. His television credits include Law and Order, Guiding Light, and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Brian is a writer, actor, producer, and co-founder of 85th Street Productions. Brian holds a BFA from the University of Michigan and an MFA from Columbia University. Brian’s essays have appeared in The Daily Beast and McSweeney’s. He is the author of several plays, which have received productions regionally and in New York, and he is the recipient of the Avery Hopwood Literary Award, as well as the Newhouse Award and the Sono Osato Grant. Brian has been performing in film, television, and on Broadway for over ten years, and can currently be seen in the Broadway production of Chicago.
